Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work American Working Drawings For Wall Drawing At Kröller Müller Museum by Sol LeWitt was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2008. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 34,350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sol LeWitt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wavy Brushstrokes in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 449,000.00 (€ 636,531.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit American Working Drawings For Wall Drawing At Kröller Müller Museum von Sol LeWitt kam im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 34.350,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sol LeWitt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wavy Brushstrokes im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 449.000,00 (€ 636.531,19).
