A top price for Song Yuanyuan - as previously expected
The work Polyhedron (Diptych) by Song Yuanyuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,562.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Polyhedron (Diptych) is the most expensive artwork by Song Yuanyuan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Polyhedron (Diptych) von Song Yuanyuan kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.562,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Polyhedron (Diptych) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Song Yuanyuan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
