Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Spencer Tunick could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Bourgogne, France 2009 changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 583.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Spencer Tunick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barcelona I (Institut de Cultura) 2003 in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,299.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Spencer Tunick konnte im November 2011 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Bourgogne, France 2009 für GBP 500,00 (€ 583,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Spencer Tunick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barcelona I (Institut de Cultura) 2003 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 22.299,86).
