STIK (B. 1979) Book deluxe edition (Mint Green) screenprint in glossy black enamel with Giclée in mint green, 2015, on stiff wove paper, signed in pencil and numbered PP 2/4 a rare printer's proof (there were also five artist's proofs, the edition was not completed) Image 739 x 220 mm. The work Book deluxe edition (Mint Green) by Stik was auctioned at Christies in London in March this year. It achieved a price of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 43,004.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Admittedly, works by Stik have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Holding Hands (Maquette) in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).

Die Arbeit Book deluxe edition (Mint Green) von Stik kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 43.004,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stik auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Holding Hands (Maquette) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
