Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Phil 'The Gift' and Jay 'Cuts' (Ideal Proportions) by Suzanne McClelland was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,863.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzanne McClelland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ideal Proportions: Squeeze - A Winning Hand, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,026.42).
