Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Takesada Matsutani could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale auction, the work (i) In the morning & (ii) 5 DROP-green in the Morning changed hands for HKD 7,560.00 (€ 7,720.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takesada Matsutani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work 65-W in June this year with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 249,291.92).
