It achieved a price of USD 509,000.00 (€ 457,117.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tamara de Lempicka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait de Marjorie Ferry in February 2020 with an auction result of GBP 16,380,000.00 (€ 18,984,457.14).

Die Arbeit Portrait de Madame G. von Tamara de Lempicka wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 509.000,00 (€ 457.117,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tamara de Lempicka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait de Marjorie Ferry im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380.000,00 (€ 18.984.457,14).
