Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self Portrait in His Studio, 1935 by Guglielmo Sansoni was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 1,800.00 (€ 1,360.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guglielmo Sansoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Avvitamento in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 43,812.00 (€ 50,818.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self Portrait in His Studio, 1935 von Guglielmo Sansoni wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.800,00 (€ 1.360,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Sansoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Avvitamento im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.812,00 (€ 50.818,78).
