A top price for Thierry Bouet - as previously expected
The work Tough Day: Weight Lifting by Thierry Bouet was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,797.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Tough Day: Weight Lifting is the most expensive artwork by Thierry Bouet that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Tough Day: Weight Lifting von Thierry Bouet kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.797,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Tough Day: Weight Lifting das teuerste Kunstwerk von Thierry Bouet, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
