Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thierry Bouet could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Running changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 691.45) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Thierry Bouet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tough Day: Weight Lifting in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,797.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thierry Bouet konnte im Juni 2011 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Running für GBP 625,00 (€ 691,45) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thierry Bouet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tough Day: Weight Lifting im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.797,27).
