Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Weight Lifting by Thierry Bouet for GBP 750.00 (€ 829.74). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thierry Bouet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tough Day: Weight Lifting, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,797.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Weight Lifting von Thierry Bouet für GBP 750,00 (€ 829,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Thierry Bouet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tough Day: Weight Lifting beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.797,27) versteigert wurde.
