Auction result well in line with expectations
The work each: Portrait by Thomas Ruff was sold in the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 11,970.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Ruff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jpeg pt01 in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 230,864.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit each: Portrait von Thomas Ruff wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 11.970,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Ruff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jpeg pt01 im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 230.864,55).
