In October 2006 Christies in London held the auction The Contemporary Sale & Michael Clark Company Benefit Sale, which included the work Schneedach I by Thoralf Knobloch. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 31,200.00 (€ 46,615.58), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Thoralf Knobloch; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Merkwürden sold at auction in June 2007 with the realized price of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,422.19).

Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Contemporary Sale & Michael Clark Company Benefit Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Schneedach I von Thoralf Knobloch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 46.615,58) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Thoralf Knobloch; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Merkwürden im Juni 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.422,19).
