Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Tilo Baumgärtel for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,694.47). This price was achieved in the auction Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tilo Baumgärtel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fencing Lesson in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 54,000.00 (€ 77,547.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tilo Baumgärtel für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.694,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tilo Baumgärtel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fencing Lesson im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 54.000,00 (€ 77.547,55).
