Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work Outside Myself (Monument Valley) by Tracey Emin. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,380.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tracey Emin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Bed in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 2,546,500.00 (€ 3,211,937.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Outside Myself (Monument Valley) von Tracey Emin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 16.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.380,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tracey Emin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Bed im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.546.500,00 (€ 3.211.937,15).
