Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Matrimonio sotto le bandiere by Umberto Buscioni was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,080.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Umberto Buscioni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Particolari (Da La Luce Verde), which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 31,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Matrimonio sotto le bandiere von Umberto Buscioni kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.080,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Umberto Buscioni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Particolari (Da La Luce Verde) beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 31.250,00 versteigert wurde.
