Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Magnesium by Urs Fischer was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 693,000.00 (€ 645,792.56) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Urs Fischer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Lamp/Bear) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 6,802,500.00 (€ 4,731,844.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Magnesium von Urs Fischer kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 645.792,56) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Urs Fischer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Lamp/Bear) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.802.500,00 (€ 4.731.844,74).
