Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Urs Lüthi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Koller in December 2016. In the PostWar & Contemporary auction, the work Triple-Box. 1967. sold for CHF 6,250.00 (€ 5,829.46) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 2,800.00. Admittedly, works by Urs Lüthi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selfportrait, One Is A Lonely Number in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,529.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Urs Lüthi erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Koller einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PostWar & Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Triple-Box. 1967. für CHF 6.250,00 (€ 5.829,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 2.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Urs Lüthi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selfportrait, One Is A Lonely Number im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 48.529,62).
