Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Vicente Silva Manansala was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 37,107.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vicente Silva Manansala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiangge (Market Scene) in November this year with an auction result of HKD 8,190,000.00 (€ 961,056.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life von Vicente Silva Manansala kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 37.107,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vicente Silva Manansala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiangge (Market Scene) im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.190.000,00 (€ 961.056,11).
