The work Great Criticism Series - Pepsi by Wang Guangyi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The auction ended at the price of HKD 20,000.00 (€ 2,185.09), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Guangyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mao AO in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,036,000.00 (€ 2,923,829.97).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Great Criticism Series - Pepsi von Wang Guangyi kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 20.000,00 (€ 2.185,09) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Guangyi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mao AO im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.036.000,00 (€ 2.923.829,97).
