Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Still Life (Moscow/Berlin) by Wolfgang Tillmans. The price achieved of EUR 62,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolfgang Tillmans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Freischwimmer #84 in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 605,000.00 (€ 688,982.12).
