Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Untitled I – 153; Untitled I – 163; Untitled II – 124; Untitled II – 143; Untitled I – 542; & Untitled II – 129 by Wu Da-Yu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 550,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 630,000.00 (€ 78,611.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Da-Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 14 in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 18,080,000.00 (€ 2,036,982.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled I – 153; Untitled I – 163; Untitled II – 124; Untitled II – 143; Untitled I – 542; & Untitled II – 129 von Wu Da-Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 550.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 630.000,00 (€ 78.611,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Da-Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 14 im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.080.000,00 (€ 2.036.982,78).
