This artwork by Wu Da-Yu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale auction, the work Untitled 14 sold for HKD 18,080,000.00 (€ 2,036,982.78) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000,000.00. This high result makes Untitled 14 the most expensive artwork by Wu Da-Yu that we have observed at auctions so far.
