Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Zao Wou-Ki was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,949.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zao Wou-Ki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 29.09.64. in May last year with an auction result of HKD 278,000,000.00 (€ 33,004,566.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Zao Wou-Ki wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.949,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zao Wou-Ki erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 29.09.64. im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 278.000.000,00 (€ 33.004.566,21).
