Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Gifts from Heaven Series (in 2 parts) by Zhan Wang was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Evening Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,022.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhan Wang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artificial Rock No. 131 in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 6,380,000.00 (€ 630,365.14).
