Kusama, Dürer and Taeuber-Arp attract visitors to major museums

Exhibitions

Tel Aviv, Museum of Art: Yayoi Kusama Retrospective

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art will present works from Yayoi Kusama's long creative period starting November 15, 2021. For the retrospective, Kusama exclusively developed two installations that will be exhibited alongside her Infinity Mirror Room The Eternally Infinite Light of the Universe Illuminating the Quest for Truth. The extensive solo show was organized jointly with the Gropius Bau in Berlin, where a comprehensive Kusama exhibition was also held from April to August this year. In Tel Aviv, the world-renowned artist's works will be on view until April 23, 2022.

London, National Gallery: Dürer's Journeys

An exhibition tracing the influences of Dürer's travels on his works opens at the National Gallery London on November 20, 2021. The solo show draws on loans from private collections and museums around the world. Among them is Madonna and Child (circa 1496/99) from the National Gallery of Art, Washington, which has never before been seen in Britain.

New York, Moma: Sophie Taeuber-Arp: Living Abstraction

For the first time in 40 years, the United States will host a comprehensive exhibition of Sophie Taeuber-Arp, considered one of the most innovative and diverse artists of her time. Following presentations in Basel and London this year, the show will now open in New York beginning November 21, 2021.

ART Cologne

After being rescheduled several times, the 54th ART COLOGNE will now take place this year between November 17 and 21, 2021. The highlights of the international fair are the two special exhibitions with works from the collection of the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and works from the art community Queer Budapest.

Abu Dhabi Art Fair

On November 17, 2021, the new edition of Abu Dhabi Art Fair will begin, marking the culmination of the year-round visual arts program in the same city. Until November 21, visitors can look forward to art from more than 45 local and international galleries and 200 artists.Art.Salon
