The four nominees for the Turner Prize, one of the most prestigious art awards in the world, have been announced: Heather Phillipson, Ingrid Pollard, Veronica Ryan, and Sin Wai Kin. The exhibition with the works of these artists will be held at Tate Liverpool for the first time in 15 years.

The deadline for the Main Section, Monologue/Dialogue, New Entries, Art Spaces & Editions is May 25, and for Present Future, Back to the Future, Disegni is already May 10. The 29th edition of ARTIMISSIMA, for the first time under the direction of Luigi Fassi, will take place from November 4 to 6, 2022.

The Ghanaian painter Amoako Boafo paints exclusively Black people to honor these characters in the pictorial tradition of portraiture. In doing so, he is putting a whole new stamp on figurative art.
