Color Painting Space
My studio practice is centered on an inquiry into the production of color, painting and space. The projects are series of paintings, objects and installations. Limitations of materials and context are in turn generative, resulting in investigations into the medium of painting, the experience and perception of color space and other related problems.

Forms of exchange: artistic contrasts and similarities
In the run-up to Berlin Art Week, the Berlin art forum ep.contemporary is showing two thematically coordinated exhibitions, wenn überhaupt, dann ist das das Besondere und … gerade deshalb (if anything, then that's what makes it special and ... that’s exactly why). They open simultaneously on August 14. Both exhibitions feature works by Henning Haupt, who participates in the Art.Salon artist program.
Magenta as a spatial concept(?)
Color space construction in St. Luke's Church in Dresden: The artist Henning Haupt examines the relationship between space and painting with his installation of cutouts (knife cuts) of color applications on paper. Five Sets of Magenta and Space can be seen from June 15 to July 3. As part of the Long Night of Science, the church will be open until 11 pm on June 20.
The architecture of color
The Berlin art forum ep.contemporary presents a new member: Henning Haupt, who also participates in the Art.Salon artist program, is showing recent paintings in Magenta Growing Strong, in which the color itself becomes form-defining. The exhibition opens on April 10.

Formen des Austauschs: Künstlerische Kontraste und Gemeinsamkeiten
Im Vorfeld der Berlin Art Week zeigt das Berliner Kunstforum ep.contemporary die beiden thematisch aufeinander abgestimmten Ausstellungen wenn überhaupt, dann ist das das Besondere und … gerade deshalb. Sie eröffnen parallel am 14. August. In beiden Ausstellungen sind Arbeiten von Henning Haupt, der am Künstlerprogramm des Art.Salon teilnimmt, zu sehen.
Magenta als Raumkonzept(?)
Farbraumkonstruktion in der Dresdner Lukaskirche: Der Künstler Henning Haupt untersucht mit seiner Installation aus Cutouts (Messerschnitten) von Farbaufträgen auf Papier das Verhältnis von Raum und Malerei. Five Sets of Magenta and Space ist vom 15. Juni bis 03. Juli zu sehen. Im Rahmen der Langen Nacht der Wissenschaften ist die Kirche am 20. Juni bis 23 Uhr geöffnet.
Die Architektur der Farbe
Das Berliner Kunstforum ep.contemporary präsentiert ein neues Mitglied: Henning Haupt, der auch am Künstlerprogramm des Art.Salon teilnimmt, zeigt in Magenta Growing Strong aktuelle Gemälde, in denen die Farbe selbst formbestimmend wird. Die Ausstellung eröffnet am 10. April.
