Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Cavalier (The Knight) by Aboudia was auctioned at Christies in Paris in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,101.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aboudia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July last year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 601,865.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Cavalier (The Knight) von Aboudia kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.101,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aboudia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 601.865,52).
