Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work Tête 10 (Green Head) by Aboudia. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 60,480.00 21% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aboudia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July last year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 601,865.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tête 10 (Green Head) von Aboudia zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 60.480,00 und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aboudia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 601.865,52).
