Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Little Fighter Girl in Heaven by Adam Handler for HKD 40,320 (€ 5,167). This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000 – 120,000 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Adam Handler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ghost Abduction in a Lost Flower Garden in March this year with an auction result of HKD 441,000 (€ 50,767).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Little Fighter Girl in Heaven von Adam Handler für HKD 40.320 (€ 5.167) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000 – 120.000. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Handler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ghost Abduction in a Lost Flower Garden im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 441.000 (€ 50.767).
