Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sweet Cloud Ghost by Adam Handler was sold in the Heatwave: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in July this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,890 (€ 2,257) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500 - 2,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Handler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ghost Abduction in a Lost Flower Garden in March this year with an auction result of HKD 441,000 (€ 50,767).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sweet Cloud Ghost von Adam Handler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.890 (€ 2.257) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500 – 2.000. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Handler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ghost Abduction in a Lost Flower Garden im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 441.000 (€ 50.767).
