Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Temple de Bancal by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 3,965,000.00 (€ 434,419.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,500,000.00 – 4,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Women Around the Lotus Pond in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 30,360,000.00 (€ 3,509,054.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Temple de Bancal von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.965.000,00 (€ 434.419,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.500.000,00 – 4.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Women Around the Lotus Pond im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 30.360.000,00 (€ 3.509.054,33).
