Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Bouquet de fleurs dans un vase by Albert Marquet. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,764.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Marquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Plage De Sainte-Adresse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,538,644.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bouquet de fleurs dans un vase von Albert Marquet zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.764,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Marquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Plage De Sainte-Adresse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.538.644,81).
