This artwork by Albert Marquet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2016. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Nuit, Paris (La Samaritaine) sold for USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,148.63) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Marquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Plage De Sainte-Adresse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,538,644.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Marquet erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Nuit, Paris (La Samaritaine) für USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.148,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Marquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Plage De Sainte-Adresse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.538.644,81).
