Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Pro Eto) by Alexander Rodchenko for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,736.73). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Rodchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Construction No.95 in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 3,646,250.00 (€ 4,302,216.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Pro Eto) von Alexander Rodchenko für USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.736,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Rodchenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Construction No.95 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.646.250,00 (€ 4.302.216,51).
