The work Die Reise by Alfred Kubin was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,592.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Kubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Der letzte König in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 525,000.00 (€ 429,272.28).

Die Arbeit Die Reise von Alfred Kubin kam im Februar 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.592,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Kubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Der letzte König im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 525.000,00 (€ 429.272,28).
