In the International Modern & Contemporary Art at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai auction, the work The Letter "Sad" sold for USD 54,000.00 (€ 42,079.02) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ali Omar Ermes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Sixth Ode, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 195,750.00 (€ 142,084.63).
