Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,331.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Arbus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Pair Of Armchairs, Circa 1935, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 38,106.99).
