Admittedly, works by André Gisson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work At The Carousel in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,842.14).

Die Arbeit Arc de Triomphe von André Gisson kam im März 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 1.674,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Gisson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit At The Carousel im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.842,14).
