Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Love Parade by Andreas Gursky was sold in the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 237,500.00 (€ 276,749.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andreas Gursky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 99 Cent Ii, Diptych in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,700,000.00 (€ 2,520,188.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Love Parade von Andreas Gursky wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 237.500,00 (€ 276.749,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andreas Gursky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 99 Cent Ii, Diptych im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.700.000,00 (€ 2.520.188,96).
