This artwork by Auguste Herbin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2013. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work Père Noël 1 sold for EUR 22,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Herbin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Route De Montagne En Corse in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 855,000.00 (€ 732,647.81).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Auguste Herbin erzielte im Dezember 2013 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit Père Noël 1 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Herbin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Route De Montagne En Corse im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 855.000,00 (€ 732.647,81).
