Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work In the Lab (the Birth of Jelly) by Aya Takano. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 302,400.00 (€ 36,245.99). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aya Takano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 428,902.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit In the Lab (the Birth of Jelly) von Aya Takano zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 302.400,00 (€ 36.245,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aya Takano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 428.902,17).
