The work Magic Carpet by Ayako Rokkaku was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 143,473.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ayako Rokkaku achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Girl with Animals in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Magic Carpet von Ayako Rokkaku kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 143.473,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ayako Rokkaku erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Girl with Animals im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
