Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ayako Rokkaku achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. In the Contemporary Day Auction auction, the work without title sold for HKD 4,410,000.00 (€ 533,201.10) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ayako Rokkaku have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little Girl with Animals in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ayako Rokkaku erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 4.410.000,00 (€ 533.201,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ayako Rokkaku auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Little Girl with Animals im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
