In October 2019 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work thula, Alkmaar by Bastiaan Woudt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,597.49), 59% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bastiaan Woudt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Disk, Alkmaar sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of GBP 60,480.00 (€ 71,009.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 59 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit thula, Alkmaar von Bastiaan Woudt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 40.597,49) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bastiaan Woudt; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Disk, Alkmaar im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 60.480,00 (€ 71.009,21).
