Sold at the lower estimate price
The work The gentleman by Bengt Lindström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May last year. The result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,771.22) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bengt Lindström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Roi De Coeur, 1964 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 62,498.00.

Die Arbeit The gentleman von Bengt Lindström kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.771,22) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bengt Lindström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Roi De Coeur, 1964 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 62.498,00.
