Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nude (Campden Hill), 1949 by Bill Brandt was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in London in May 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,565.19). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Brandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nude (Campden Hill), 1949 von Bill Brandt wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.565,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Brandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 265.000,00 (€ 170.220,97).
