Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Burn by Bill Woodrow for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,025.88). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bill Woodrow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Round the Kitchen Table in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Burn von Bill Woodrow für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.025,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Woodrow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Round the Kitchen Table im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68).
