In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Deux enfants jouant dans la forêt sold for USD 40,000.00 (€ 33,619.10) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Camille Bombois have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La blonde sur le pouf in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 147,039.97).
